Michael Cera, Brie Larson and other Scott Pilgrim cast members will reunite in Netflix anime series. Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Chris Evans, Aubrey Plaza and Anna Kendrick also return to voice their former roles.
Brie Larson, Michael Cera and other cast members from 2010’s Scott Pilgrim Vs The World will return for an upcoming Netflix anime series based on popular graphic novels about a lazy teenager seeking love.

On Thursday, March 30th Netflix posted a cast announcement video across various social media platforms and YouTube. The show had been announced in January 2022 but no voice actors had yet been revealed.
Cera will reprise her voice-over role of Pilgrim, while Mary Elizabeth Winstead returns as romantic interest Ramona Flowers. Additionally, The Marvels actor Brie Larson reprises her role as Envy Adams and Captain America star Chris Evans reprises his role as Lucas Lee.

Aubrey Plaza and Anna Kendrick will reprise their previous roles in The White Lotus.

Scott Pilgrim is based on graphic novels created by Canadian comic book artist Bryan Lee O’Malley. These tales follow Pilgrim, who is in his 20s and lives in Toronto.

Pilgrim plays the bass in a band with his friends and lives an uneventful life until he falls in love with an American girl – though she must endure seven exes before they can finally start dating safely.
