What women business leaders think about Slack, Shopee, and the future of innovation
As part of this year’s International Women’s Day theme of innovation, CNA Women asked 10 of Singapore’s leading businesswomen about the apps, sites and gadgets that have made their lives easier.
As part of its theme for International Women’s Day, “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality,” the United Nations (UN) urges us to ask the question, “How does technology benefit women?”.
In order to encourage what the UN describes as a “gender-responsive approach to innovation, technology and digital education”, CNA Women questioned ten of Singapore’s top business women about the technology they’ve adopted and liked in recent years, and how it affects their work, personal lives, and more.
Here’s what I’m using:
Flipboard: I use Flipboard regularly to stay up to date with the latest news. As a result, I don’t have to scroll through multiple news sites to stay informed about topics that matter to me, such as careers, leadership, and social issues.
Using Miro’s sticky note, mind-mapping, and drawing tools, we’ve been able to better understand our operations and identify processes that need to be improved.
Even though I have a busy schedule, MyFitnessPal has helped me stay healthy. This app is my go-to for tracking my diet and calorie intake. Its user-friendly interface makes it easy to break down my goals into bite-size steps. It also monitors my progress throughout the day.
